CONCRETE POLISHING LUNCHEON

“World of Concrete” 2013

“How Contractors Can Jumpstart Their Polishing Businesses : Part 2″

For the past three years the Concrete Polishing Luncheon and Forum has been the largest attended luncheon at the World of Concrete. It has sold out each year. The “International Concrete Polishing and Staining Conference” will sponsor the luncheon for the fourth consecutive year in association with Concrete Surfaces and Concrete Construction magazines. This Luncheon and Forum allows those in attendance to network with one another about their businesses, in addition to allowing attendees to listen to speakers who have an expertise in the field of concrete polishing.

The theme of this year’s Concrete Surfaces Concrete Polishing Luncheon is a continuation of the Keynote speech at ICPSC 2012 – “How Contractors Can Jumpstart Their Polishing Businesses” The concrete polishing industry has existed in its current state only for about the last dozen years. However, the industry has suffered growing pains, and some contractors have experienced a drop-off in business, while other have left the industry altogether. This year’s event will give advice to contractor on how they can stimulate their businesses to allow the industry to flourish and how they can better serve their customers.

Confirmed speakers include: 1 – Adrian Henry, vice president of operations, Diacon Concrete Polishing, who will discuss how contractors can develop maintenance programs once the jobs are complete. 2 – Chris Wright, vice president and co-owner, Durable Concrete Surfaces Concrete Repair, will talk about how to develop business plans that create niche markets for salvaging distressed concrete. 3 – Roy Bowman, Owner, Concrete Visions, Tulsa, Okla., will discuss how decorative polished concrete can add to your bottom line.. After these 15-minute presentations, there will be a panel discussion with these three presenters which will include questions from members of the audience

The event will occur Tuesday, February 5th – 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Registration for this event is $60 before 12/8/12; $90 after 12/8/12 and on-site. Based on feedback from the polishing industry, the topics discussed at this luncheon and forum are again a continuation of the seminars held at the 2012 ICPSC…along with the usual industry changing topics that will help grow your business and your industry.
