The Foundation:

Since it’s inception, the Conference has been driven to offer an educational event which teaches the most accurate, non-biased, up to date information, available in the concrete polishing industry. Bringing together the best contractors, manufacturers, engineers, scientists, designers, and architects all in one place, completely dedicated to a single purpose and profession, we have created the ultimate concrete polishing networking and educational campus. While the Conference serves as an annual physical campus for the industry’s leaders, it’s the definition of true leadership that has driven us to expand our vision. It’s not the goal of true leaders to count how many followers they have, but rather, how many leaders they can help to create. It is our vision that the world’s concrete polishing professionals work together, hand in hand, to not only create an industry of excellence, but to serve as a role model of possibilty to all other professions. It is from this vision that Concrete Polishing University was born. We are excited to announce that after three years of work the “International Concrete Polishing & Staining Conference” has formally organized it’s curriculum into a university-like structure and completed the framework and platforms to deliver it at an outstanding level.

Concrete Polishing University has been meticulously engineered and purposefully designed into a comprehensive system and world class concrete polishing campus. The classes, seminars, and workshops of Concrete Polishing University will deliver certificate and diploma level content, professional instruction, and cutting edge information. In fact, each of the seminars and workshops of the conference now qualify as accredited CPU classes. Combining the finest resources and information from all sectors of the industry, making it available to you at the click of a mouse, through a single portal, with the flexibility to adapt and evolve at the moment of industry innovation, is how our platform has been intentionally designed.

A second intention of CPU is to forever end the false divides between contractor, manufacturer, and industry professional. A contractor armed only with theoretical information is literally empty handed. A manufacturer without outstanding, professional, leadership based, contractors faces dwindling sales and bankruptcy. Together, they can form an invincible team that decimates obsticles and enriches every link in the sales chain. CPU has created unique “bridge” platforms that span this false divide in ways that benefit and inspire everyone in the industry.

The Design:

According to education research, the most effective way to learn anything is to utilize a three step approach. First, a period of time of total immersion. We have    removed all those barriers during the second step – continued learning with spaced repetition.  The modules not offered at the conference will be presented through a   cutting edge virtual platform. This puts you in control and gives you the ultimate level of flexibility when it comes to the CPU curriculum. Continuing Education:

Concrete polishing is still in it’s infancy. The chemistry, equipment, tooling, and techniques change from one day to the next. In order to be sure your education is as current as possible, the annual conference will include a continuing education module specifically designed for those holding certificates. The module willfocus on innovation, research, and future trends.

Externships and Research:

We are currently developing alliances and protocols with both academia and industry to  facilitate training externships and research projects.
